This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our non-wearable sleep monitoring system, which includes the Slzzzp mobile application, the SlzzzpPod, the Slzzzpcase, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

a. Information from the Slzzzp Hardware
* Physiological Data: When you use the Slzzzpcase and SlzzzpPod, we passively collect data related to your sleep, including:
* Heart Rate (HR)
* Respiratory Rate
* Body Motion and Tossing/Turning
* Sleep/Wake Rhythms and Sleep Stages (e.g., light, deep, REM)
* Audio Data: The SlzzzpPod uses its onboard microphones to capture ambient audio for the specific purpose of detecting and analyzing snoring patterns. It is designed not to record or store conversational speech. The audio is processed to identify snoring events, which is then fused with physiological data for analysis.

b. Information You Provide Directly
* Account Information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
* Profile Information: Information such as your age, gender, and general health habits to personalize your experience.
* Medication Reminders: The times and names of medications you input for reminder functionality.
* Contacts: If you use the Family Sharing feature, you may provide us with the contact information of the people you wish to share your data with.

c. Information Collected Automatically
* Device Information: We collect information about your mobile device and SlzzzpPod, including model, operating system, unique device identifiers, and wireless network information.
* Usage Data: We collect data about your interactions with the Service, such as features you use, time spent in the app, and your actions.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
* To Provide and Maintain the Service: To generate your personalized AI sleep reports, send you snore and apnea risk alerts, and deliver medication reminders.
* To Personalize Your Experience: To tailor your morning AI report and provide actionable tips based on your unique sleep data.
* To Enable Family Sharing: To securely transmit your sleep reports and trends to the individuals you have explicitly authorized.
* To Improve and Develop the Service: We use aggregated and anonymized data to train our AI models, improve our algorithms, and develop new features.
* To Communicate with You: To send you service-related notifications, technical updates, security alerts, and support messages.
* For Security and Compliance: To protect the security and integrity of our Service, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, we process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
* Performance of a Contract: Processing is necessary to provide the Service to you under our User Agreement.
* Consent: For certain optional features, such as precise audio processing for snore detection, we will rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the app settings.

* With Your Consent: When you use the Family Sharing feature, we share the sleep reports and data you select with the individuals you designate.
* Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party companies to perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, data analysis, and customer support. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
* For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request, such as a court order or subpoena.

We implement a tiered security model to protect your data:
* Local Encryption: Data is encrypted on the SlzzzpPod before it is transmitted.
* In-Transit Encryption: Data is transmitted between the Pod, the app, and our cloud servers using secure, encrypted protocols (TLS/SSL).
* At-Rest Encryption: Your personal data is stored in our secure cloud servers with robust encryption.
* Audio Data Specifics: Raw audio data is processed locally on the SlzzzpPod. Only anonymized, non-audio metrics (e.g., snore duration, intensity) are transmitted to our servers. Raw audio files are not stored.
Despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission or storage method is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have control over your personal data. You can:
* Access and Update: View and edit your account and profile information directly in the app.
* Download Your Data: Request a copy of your personal data in a portable format.
* Delete Your Data: You can delete your individual sleep sessions or your entire account, along with all associated data, through the app settings. This action is permanent.
* Control Family Sharing: Manage or revoke sharing permissions at any time.
* Control Audio Processing: You can disable snore detection and analysis in the app settings.
* Opt-Out of Marketing: You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails by following the instructions in those emails.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will initiate the deletion of your personal data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where we need to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that appropriate legal safeguards are in place to protect your data when such transfers occur, such as relying on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by relevant authorities.
